Western yoga teachers want to host retreats in Rishikesh —one of the most powerful wellness destinations in the world.But they can't. Not because of cost. Because of anxiety.They can't verify if a venue is safe from London. And the oneswho do come end up managing 20 students' questions over WhatsApp,24 hours a day. They burn out before the retreat even starts.MyShala fixes both sides of this problem. I built the platformthat turns Rishikesh from a "risky adventure" into a structured,scalable, high-margin business for global teachers.
What I built.
The Teacher Dashboard
A full control panel where teachers manage events, upload documents, add students, and generate secure access links — all from one place. No more spreadsheets, no more WhatsApp chaos.
Event-Scoped RAG AI Chatbot
Teachers upload their retreat documents (schedule, rules, FAQs). Students get a private AI chat that answers strictly from that content — no hallucinations, no irrelevant responses. Each event's AI is completely siloed from every other.
Student Access — Zero Login Friction
Students don't create accounts. They visit a unique link, enter their email, and they're in. Or they message on WhatsApp and the system verifies them by phone number automatically.
Split-Service Infrastructure
Frontend on Vercel. Backend API on Render. AI service deployed independently for performance and scalability. Built to handle real production load from day one.
